Doris Matsui (CA), Don Beyer (VA), and Maxine Dexter (OR) sent a letter calling on U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Secretary Brooke Rollins to provide robust opportunities for public engagement and input on USDA’s proposal to rescind the 2001 Roadless Area Conservation Rule (Roadless Rule), which aims to undermine the successful management of millions of acres of National Forest System lands across America.

Doris Matsui (CA), Don Beyer (VA), and Maxine Dexter (OR) released the following statement in response to the House passage of three Congressional Review Act resolutions that would inhibit long-term resource management planning for public lands in Montana (H.J.Res. 104), North Dakota (H.J.Res. 105), and Alaska (H.J.Res. 106), resulting in dire consequences for future land-use management here in the United States.
