These members were part of a federal delegation set to go to Belem but were waylaid by President Trump’s government shutdown. Don Beyer, Suzanne Bonamici, Sean Casten, Mike Levin, and Chellie Pingree, informed Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Administrator Lee Zeldin of their opposition to the proposal to terminate EPA’s Greenhouse Gas Reporting Program. The members, led by Vice Chair Rep. Sean Casten, stated that the EPA must follow Congress’ clear direction to maintain the EPA’s Greenhouse Gas Reporting Program.
