Dr. Ruiz Ramps up Green Jobs Push

Washington, D.C.—The House Sustainable Energy and Environment Coalition (SEEC) is pleased to welcome Dr. Raul Ruiz (CA-36) to its membership.

Dr. Ruiz said of joining SEEC: "With an estimated 3.4 million green jobs in the U.S., the industry needs policy certainty to continue to create jobs, grow domestic manufacturing, and produce sustainable, American-made energy. I am proud to join SEEC and work with my colleagues to advance polices that that strengthen our economy in California and across the country."

“We need more members, like Dr. Ruiz, who are focused on a clean-energy solution,” said SEEC Co-Chair Congressman Steve Israel (NY-03). “Congressman Ruiz understands the national security, job growth, and environmental benefits that come from a clean-energy economy, and we are thrilled to welcome him to SEEC.”

With the addition of Dr. Ruiz, SEEC now has 54 members.
