SEEC Added Four New Members in May
The House Sustainable Energy and Environment Coalition (SEEC) was pleased to welcome Reps Nanette Barragán (CA-44), Bonnie Watson Coleman (NJ-12), and Raja Krishnamoorthi (IL-08) to its membership in May. The Caucus was also pleased to welcome back Rep. Carol Shea-Porter (NH-01), who previously served in SEEC during the 113th Congress. This brings the total number of coalition members to fifty-three.
“As the co-chairs of SEEC, we are excited to have Reps. Barragán, Watson Coleman, Krishnamoorthi, and Shea-Porter on board,” said Reps Doris Matsui, Paul Tonko and Gerry Connolly. “These members are leaders in the fight to protect our public health, preserve our natural resources, and create a clean energy economy that safeguards our planet for future generations. Their voices and leadership will be an asset to the caucus, and we look forward to working with them.”
Representatives Watson Coleman, Barragán, Krishnamoorthi and Shea-Porter made the following statements about joining SEEC:
