SEEC Welcomes 54th Member

December 17, 2012

WASHINGTON, D.C.—The House Sustainable Energy and Environment Coalition (SEEC) welcomes its newest member, Congresswoman Judy Chu of California’s 32nd Congressional District.

In joining SEEC, Rep. Chu (D-CA) said: “In a relatively short time, the Sustainable Energy and Environment Coalition (SEEC) has become a key green voice in Congress. I am honored to join my colleagues in the very important work of promoting renewable energy and protecting our national environment. We must continually press issues of climate change, conservation, and sustainable energy for ourselves, our communities, and future generations.”

“Rep. Chu is one of the strongest environmental advocates in Congress,” said SEEC Executive Director Kara Allen. “She also effectively vocalizes the critical connection of clean energy development to economic growth. SEEC members look forward to having her as a driver behind our efforts.”

With the addition of Congresswoman Chu, SEEC now has 54 members.
