Climate & Agriculture

Taskforce Priorities:

This task force will continue to highlight the value of climate smart agriculture and the need to protect the Inflation Reduction Act investments through the United States Department of Agriculture. The task force will push back against harmful actions taken by the Administration and Congress that exacerbate the climate crisis for farmers and rural communities. The task force also will work to identify additional opportunities in the Farm Bill to secure climate wins – this will include identifying areas with bipartisan support.
