Washington, D.C. – Today, members of the House Sustainable Energy and Environment Coalition (SEEC), including Co-Chair Paul Tonko (NY-20) and Members Yassamin Ansari (AZ-03), Maxine Dexter (OR-03), Jerrold Nadler (NY-12), and Melanie Stansbury (NM-01), were denied entry at the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to speak out against the Trump Administration’s illegal and cruel power grab of American taxpayer money that will increase costs for our families, hurt our businesses and communities, and pollute the air we breathe and the water we drink.

Washington, D.C. – Today, the members of the House Sustainable Energy and Environment Coalition (SEEC) voted on its leadership for the 119th Congress. Reps. Doris Matsui (CA-07), Mike Quigley (IL-05), and Paul Tonko (NY-20) were reelected as Co-Chairs. Reps. Don Beyer (VA-08), Sean Casten (IL-06), and Chellie Pingree (ME-01) were reelected as Vice Chairs and will be joined by Reps. Suzanne Bonamici (OR-01) and Mike Levin (CA-49) also as Vice Chairs.

Washington, D.C. – Today, the House Sustainable Energy and Environment Coalition (SEEC) Climate Jobs Task Force Co-Chairs – Reps. Suzanne Bonamici, Nikki Budzinski, and Mark DeSaulnier – and Task Force Member Rep. Seth Magaziner, sent a letter to Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen in support of the Department of Treasury’s proposed rule to expand the Inflation Reduction Act’s Low-Income Communities Bonus Credit (LICBC) Program to include additional clean energy technologies for calendar years 2025 and onward.
