Washington, D.C. – Today, the House Sustainable Energy and Environment Coalition (SEEC) Climate and Agriculture Task Force Co-Chairs, Reps. Chellie Pingree (ME-01) and Kim Schrier (WA-08), along with Task Force Members Reps. Julia Brownley (CA-26), Jennifer McClellan (VA-04), Jim McGovern (MA-02), and Jimmy Panetta (CA-19), sent a letter to the House Agriculture Committee urging them to continue to support America’s farmers in their climate-resilient conservation efforts through the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) critical climate-smart agriculture programs in the upcoming Farm Bill negotiations.

Washington, D.C. – This week, members of the House Sustainable Energy and Environment Coalition (SEEC) led their state delegations in sending public comment letters in response to Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Administrator Lee Zeldin’s proposed rollbacks of EPA’s landmark Endangerment Finding and vehicle emissions standards. These letters were sent alongside SEEC’s 154-Member public comment letter to EPA highlighting climate change-impact stories across the nation.

Washington, D.C. – The leaders of the House Sustainable Energy and Environment Coalition (SEEC), including Co-Chairs Reps. Doris Matsui, Mike Quigley, and Paul Tonko and Vice Chairs Reps. Don Beyer, Suzanne Bonamici, Sean Casten, Mike Levin, and Chellie Pingree, led a public comment letter to Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Administrator Lee Zeldin in opposition to the EPA’s proposal to rescind the landmark 2009 Endangerment Finding that greenhouse gases threaten public health and welfare. A total of 154 Members of Congress called on Administrator Zeldin to stop his attacks on pollution protections for the American people.
