Washington D.C. – The Co-Chairs of the House Sustainable Energy and Environment Coalition (SEEC), Reps. Gerry Connolly, Doris Matsui, and Paul Tonko, along with the Chair of the New Democrat Coalition (NDC), Rep. Suzan DelBene and the Chair of the Congressional Progressive Caucus (CPC), Rep. Pramila Jayapal, sent a letter to President Biden urging him to do everything in his power to reach a deal and sign into law as swiftly as possible a revised reconciliation package that includes the climate investments passed by the U.S. House of Representatives. These investments will be critical to tackling change, lowering energy costs for Americans during a time of rising prices, and ensuring true U.S. energy independence by transitioning to a clean energy economy.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, the House Sustainable Energy and Environment Coalition (SEEC) announced the launch of their Nature and Oceans Task Force, which will be led by SEEC Co-Chair Congresswoman Doris Matsui (CA-06) and Natural Resources Parks Subcommittee Chair Congressman Joe Neguse (CO-02). The SEEC Nature and Oceans Task Force will work closely with Congressional colleagues, experts, and the Biden administration to harness the power of public lands and waters in the fight against the climate crisis.
