Washington D.C. – Today the leaders of the House Sustainable Energy and Environment Coalition (SEEC) sent Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Administrator Andrew Wheeler a letter condemning the Agency's March 26 memorandum announcing that the EPA will cease all enforcement actions during the coronavirus pandemic.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today the leaders of the House Sustainable Energy and Environment Coalition (SEEC) sent a letter to Transportation and Infrastructure Committee Chairman Peter DeFazio and Ranking Member Sam Graves urging them to use this year's expected reauthorization of the surface transportation bill as an opportunity to take serious action on climate change.

(October 30, 2019) – Today the House Sustainable Energy and Environment Coalition (SEEC), joined by the New Democrat Coalition and the Congressional Progressive Caucus, led 166 members in calling for the inclusion of clean energy tax policies in must-pass legislation this year—demonstrating broad Democratic support for the immediate passage of these policies.

Washington D.C. – Today the members of SEEC leadership, led by Co-Chair Rep. Doris Matsui, sent a letter to executives at 14 automotive companies expressing the importance that all automakers join the recently announced deal on vehicle greenhouse gas emissions standards between California and four major automakers: Ford, Honda, Volkswagen, and BMW.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, SEEC Co-Chairs Reps. Gerry Connolly (D-VA), Doris Matsui (D-CA), and Paul Tonko (D-NY) issued a statement joining with SEEC Vice-Chair Congresswoman Chellie Pingree to request that USDA’s Inspector General investigate the suppression of valuable climate research conducted by the Agriculture Research Service (ARS), a division of USDA.
